Data collection and use
GI-ESCR collects and processes personal data for the following specific purposes:

Communications and campaigns
GI-ESCR will only contact you for campaigning purposes (for example, to keep you up to date on our work in a specific area) where we have your consent.

GI-ESCR will treat any consent you give us as lasting for five years. We will never sell or share your information with entities outside GI-ESCR for other purposes.
Data sharing
In order to meet our objectives, GI-ESCR sometimes engages third-party service providers to perform tasks (such as hosting webinars) or provide services (such as information technology support) on our behalf. In addition, we may sometimes work with partners on campaigns. These activities may involve access to the personal data held by GI-ESCR. In these instances, GI-ESCR will seek to ensure as far as possible that any such data processing is carried out in accordance with this Notice. This includes carefully selecting service providers and only working with trusted partners.
Data protection
GI-ESCR ensures that there are appropriate technical controls in place to protect your personal data.
Where we use external companies to collect or process personal data on our behalf, we put a contract in place that sets out our expectations and requirements in relation to the security of the data they access or process.
Data retention
GI-ESCR will only retain the data you provide to us for as long as required by applicable laws or as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with any consent provided.
Your rights
You have the right to request details of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please make a request at the details provided at the beginning of this Notice. We will provide this information to you without charge unless requests are manifestly unfounded, repetitive or excessive.
You also have a right to have inaccurate information we hold about you rectified or removed and a right, in some circumstances, to restrict or object to us processing your information, or to seek the erasure of your data. If you believe we are not respecting your rights, you are entitled to make a complaint at the details provided at the beginning of this Notice.

GI-ESCR may make changes to this notice from time to time. GI-ESCR will always detail, at the end of this Notice, the date on which it was last updated.
