Will the pandemic force the shift? | GI-ESCR’s new publication on opportunities and avenues out of the COVID-19 crisis

GI-ESCR is glad to share its new publication Will the pandemic force the shift? The COVID-19 Pandemic and its impact on economic, social and cultural rights - Opportunities and avenues out of the crisis, which summarises, by theme, a total of 32 thought-provoking articles by 45 authors, advocates, practitioners, policy makers and academics, mostly women from the Global South, published in 2020 through GI-ESCR’s blog series to assess the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the enjoyment of ESC rights.

As a rapid response to COVID-19 pandemic, GI-ESCR launched a blog series in March 2020 to encourage debates on how to address the crisis from a human rights respective. 45 authors contributed to it between April and October 2020, all stressing the importance of putting economic, social and cultural rights, climate change and gender equality at the centre of policy responses to the pandemic.

BROWSE THROUGH THE CONTENT BY AUTHOR OR BY TOPIC!

GI-ESCR decided to gather and share these thoughts in a publication summarising all contributions by theme. You can therefore still browse the blog by author but also by topic, in the publication as well as on the webpage.

You don't have a pdf plugin, but you can download the pdf file.

This publication is the 2nd edition of GI-ESCR’s series Pushing the frontiers of economic, social and cultural rights.
