G7 States are asked to lead the implementation of the Abidjan Principles

58 civil society organisations call on G7 States to take a leading role in the implementation of the Abidjan Principles

 

In advance of the forthcoming G7 meeting in 2019, 58 civil society organisations issued ‘Education: the catalyst for an equitable & transformative G7’. The recommendations were developed collectively with the Civil Society Education Working, and will be presented to member States towards achieving SDG4 and the G7 educational agenda. Included is a call to G7 member States to take a lead role in the implementation of the Abidjan Principles. The Joint Education-Development Ministerial will be held in France on July 5th.
